Students and community members will join together this Friday (April 3, 2020) to demand an end to profits at the expense of the environment. We need politicians to accept that corporate greed is in direct contradiction of climate justice and long-term solutions for the climate crisis. We will make our demands loud and clear while respecting social distancing guidelines in place.

There are a number of ways to participate in the global climate strike this Friday:

  1. Post a photo of yourself in social media (preferably on Friday) with the hashtag #ClimateStrikeOnline and a homemade sign. We have made a number of signs available below that you can print (reusing an old one-sided sheet of paper) or display on your phone.
  2. Put a sign on your window. You can use one of the signs below or make your own!
  3. Take it to the streets – with chalk. Write a message of solidarity on your driveway for neighbours to see when they walk by.
