On November 6th, join students across Ontario in the fight for an equitable and accessible post-secondary education!
In March, Ryerson held the largest walk-out in the province and showed the Provincial Government that we will not tolerate the cuts to post-secondary education. Next Wednesday, unite once again to continue to grow the movement and combat cuts to grant funding in OSAP, increases to International Student tuition fees, and attacks on Student Union and Student Association autonomy, among other disadvantages.
We The Students are in solidarity across the Ryerson Students’ Union (inclusive of the Ryerson Graduate Students’ Union), the Continuing Education Students’ Association of Ryerson, the York Federation of Students, the OCAD Students’ Union, the University of Toronto Mississauga Students’ Union, the University of Windsor Students’ Alliance, and Lakehead University Students’ Union – Orillia.
WHY ARE WE PROTESTING?
We are protesting the cuts to post-secondary education that the Ontario provincial government has downloaded onto students and workers. This year, we are facing massive cuts to OSAP grants, increased class sizes and dwindling public funding for education.
