TMAPS Seed Library

Our Seed Library is a free, community resource for students to grow herbs, vegetables, flowers, and more at home, on balconies, or in shared spaces. Created as part of our commitment to addressing food insecurity on campus, this initiative makes it easier to access fresh, affordable food while building sustainable growing skills.

Why Make a Seed Library Part of our Food Security on Campus Initiatives?

Rooted in principles of food justice, seed sovereignty, and environmental sustainability, the Seed Library is grounded in care—for each other and for the land. We invite students of all experience levels to take what they need, grow what they can, and contribute to a culture of sharing, learning, and collective nourishment.

Location: In front of SCC301 – accessible anytime the Toronto Metropolitan University Student Centre is open.
