Volunteer Testimonials
“While at CESAR I gained and honed a number of personal and professional skills. Some of the most rewarding skills I’ve gained included the creation and implementation of programming, policy and practice. Understanding the way things work and the reasoning behind various implementations really helped me understand policy creation and why policies need to continually be reviewed and updated for current circumstances. This has helped me not only in my professional endeavors, but also in my ability to volunteer for other governing bodies.”

Amanda Lin volunteered at CESAR from 2017 to 2019. She served as a volunteer, board member, and executive member.
“Working with the student body, advocating for services and rights for the students, and bringing our voices to the Administration and Faculty was all important and fulfilling. I also enjoyed learning about my fellow student body and the various cultures represented. It definitely refined my cultural understanding of the students of the school, and that helped me a lot in my current job.“
