💃🏾 Freedom in Motion with C-Flava
Emancipation Day commemorates a powerful legacy of liberation, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of freedom. This wellness experience honours that legacy through movement, joy, cultural pride, and collective care.
Led by C-Flava, a Toronto-based Afro-Caribbean dance, arts, and performance collective, participants will take part in an energizing Afro-Zumba session exploring the powerful connection between dance, culture, and freedom.
Across African and Caribbean communities, dance has long been a form of resistance, storytelling, celebration, and healing. Through rhythm and movement, we’ll celebrate the joy of Afro-Zumba while reflecting on the cultural traditions that have fostered strength, unity, and resilience across generations.
